The gentle hills of the Cserhát are perfect ebike country: we roll from ridge to ridge between forests and meadows until Hollókő castle appears on the hilltop. In the UNESCO World Heritage old village we take a longer break — castle, village museum, and if you like, a real Palóc lunch (menu arranged in advance).

The ride home starts back partly along the same road, then reaches its finest point at the Tepke lookout (567 m): the tower offers a full panorama of the Cserhát and the Mátra. The full-day loop runs at a relaxed pace with plenty of stops — a favourite with our international guests, and a completely different way to experience Hollókő than arriving by car.

A cultural tour in sporty packaging: this one is about collecting experiences, not training.
